Diversey used posters and other printed materials to educate the end users of their products on how those products should be used. These end users were cleaning staff based all around the world. They were transient workers who didn’t always speak English and not all of them could read.
Diversey wanted to modernize their training materials, and how they were delivered. The new solution needed to be global, cost effective, easy to follow and easy to update.
Together we decided that short animations delivered via iOS/Android apps would be the most effective way to train the people that our client needed to reach. We designed and built an app with a user interface that was easy to follow, even for users with reading difficulties. The app delivers training materials in the form of videos, text, PDFs, and short quizzes in over 30 languages to people all around the world.
We also worked with the client to specify a content management system (CMS) that would work for them, allowing them to manage content across regions and languages, as well as seeing usage data for their training material.
