What is CTR?
CTR stands for click-through rate, and normally refers to the ratio of people that perform a desired action as a result of your paid or organic marketing messaging (i.e click on an ad).
How is CTR measured?
CTR is calculated through the total clicks on a link divided by the number of times it was viewed.
Key point: A higher CTR suggests a higher quality of ad - the messaging is more relevant and engaging to the viewer and has driven them to complete a goal that has a desired outcome for your organisation.
